Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MomentCut (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

MomentCut turns long videos into short vertical reels with captions, and can schedule and publish those reels to an Instagram account you connect. Features may change over time.

Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• To publish, you must connect an Instagram Business or Creator account that you own or are authorized to manage.

Your content & responsibilities

• You retain ownership of the videos and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, store and publish it solely to provide the Service.
• You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload and to publish the resulting reels.
• You will not use the Service to post content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates Instagram’s and Meta’s terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with the rules of any platform you publish to.
• You will not abuse, reverse engineer, overload or attempt to disrupt the Service.

Instagram / Meta

Publishing relies on the Instagram API and is subject to Meta’s Platform Terms and Instagram’s policies. Instagram is a third-party service we do not control; its availability, limits and behavior may affect the Service. You authorize us to publish reels to your connected account at your direction.

Subscriptions & payment

• Paid features require an active subscription, billed through our payment processor (Stripe).
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. On termination, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from third-party platforms (including Instagram) or from content you publish.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time and will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
